I have created some tables of the Registration Offices within the UK and Geocoding their locations. Ideally, these should be used to locate modern BMD events, but could also be used as the “Standardized” location for those offices which have disappeared from the cities or towns mentioned.
Initially, the lists will be geocoded using a “Bulk Geocoder” based upon the Post Code (ie it will show the centre of the Post Code area). Over time, I hope to use other sources to move each location to a more accurate position.
